They really shouldn't have started out with the MC being drawn as a little girl and the ML in a full adult body. Every kiss scene makes me queasy and they kiss a lot in the novel because of....plot reason
I agree... the problem is mostly the art. They did ml too dirty with drawing him as a full adult when he was in his late teens... Honestly I'm not bothered with large age gaps when there's no grooming involved... and because of remembering the previous life (kinda) their mental age is all over the place. So story-wise I see no problem with their relationship. Especially because since the start it was made clear that the wards brought into the family usually get married to them and aren't treated as adopted sibling... cuz I hate that sibling (blood or not) to lovers trope.
So yeah... the art is gorgeous most of the time but also a problem. It's even worse since her face still looks the same as when she was younger. Michael looks older... but she looks like a woman with the face of a child... and I hate when they do that with female characters... using boobs and small waist to show they've grown but shoulers up they still look young... Thanks to the art... even tho there's only 7 years between them (we've seen worse) they'll always look like a pedo adult and a young teen kissing...
Besides... while gorgeous... the art at times gets confusing... like, there's too much color and details and frills and I don't know what to focus on and feels messy...
Yeahh the composition of a lot of scenes is all over the place. They put too much time on rendering than fixing the flow and readability of the panels sksksks.
Tbh it's over rendered.
