This is one of the best shoujos because oh how well the characters are written. Their emotions are so raw and their actions are realistic, I feel like I’m back in high school lol. Hananoi especially is really complex and Yao, I usually hate 2nd male lead syndrome but he’s really just a guy with a crush. I love this story, the anime didn’t do this justice especially leaving out the mini stories and the end of the chapters.

Remember guys, just because you dont like a trope or have critique on writing doesnt mean you hate a story. Why would you discourage people from reading just because they say a trope is too cliché or overused? (Ch 28 notes) Calm down.
Personally, I did not think it was obvious this was "childhood connection" cuz 1. How would the reader know ML was pretending to be a girl 2. They had no inkling of recognition to each other and 3. Only "hint" of there being a connection was MCs eyebrow slit.

agreed !! on one hand, it's cute that daehan got the eyebrow scar from protecting jinwoo as a kid, but on the other hand, it detracts from their relationship development when it's like "we were always meant to be". at least they've already pretty much fallen for each other already before finding out that they were those kids
