This manga is kind of stressing me out. Not because of everything happening to the mc in terms of sexual abuse, but the treatment of the father and brother. Sadly this isn't just fiction - psychological illnesses are still often treated as "you just don't want to get better" although it's a serious illness like any other, mostly caused by an imbalance of neurotransmitters in your brain. And this talk of "it's your fault" and "just get better" has serious repercussions for people dealing with depression etc. - if you are dealing with such an illness you are at higher risk for self harm and suicidal thoughts - and that talk is just toxic for someone who is already on the verge of breaking down.
I am currently dealing with some of these things myself but I am getting better with meds (yes, those things the father wants the mc to stop using) and therapy with a real psychologist. Slowly but surely.
If you are dealing with depression or another kind of psychological illness please reach out. If you have no one to talk to in your vicinity please use "emergency lines" or you don't want that talk to me - I don't know how much I can help you but I'll listen at least.
And please do not forget: IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!!!
