everyone keeps asking why seunghyun forgot and coming up with trauma reason but i think it's still just as plausible (and understandable) that he just forgot because of the passage of time.

Like maybe he remembers there was a kid he used to hang out around x and y time but not his name and (clearly) nor his face (since he has seen pics of chaejun as a child and it didnt bring back any memories)-- this is totally normal when you are a kid, make friends and dont keep in touch for years and years.

I dont personally remember the names of all my grade school classmates and if I do (w the ones i was friends with) I dont necessarily remember how their faces looked and if i do i dont have any pictures to confirm i'm remembering them right nor do i know that i would be able to point them out if i saw them grown up today, idk- granted i do have a lotta mental issues so that could make my memory worse than the average, but a moderately rough houselife can be enough to make a child have spotty memory even without grave glaring trauma, and seunghyun definitely had a bit of a rough upbringing to say the least- anyway, since this is manwha i know we're probably gonna get trauma reasons, i just want ppl to consider how perfectly normal it would still be if it turns out seunghyun doesnt remember chaejun specifically or doesnt connect him to that kid he met for a season just because time moved on.

also cause i dont even remember if theyve ever talked about both having hung up w a kid at a construction site or smth like that that could potentially give them a clue that they both were the child the other is talking about (chaejun couldnt cause he didnt remember and seunghyun probably just didnt see the relevance of bringing it up since it might just be a passing childhood memory)
