I don't know why the author is rushing so quickly toward the conclusion, but it's clear that many parts have been skipped... At first, everything was wonderful—there was actually a story to tell—but now, either the author has lost interest or the publisher want to wrap it up for some reason... What a shame.

It's actually following Volume one of the novel pretty diligently, this story wraps up sweetly in volume 1, and then volume 2 deepens the story past 'Anastasia' and we see more character development + their relationship. The manwha is at like the 3/4 way point of Volume 1 <3

i think the other comment meant part 2 instead of volume 2 cuz the novel is 10 volumes long but there are 2 parts of the novel

I don't know where you get that idea, but nothing is rushed here and this won't end soon either. The manhwa follows the novel pretty well.

The novel has a lot of depth and explanation in terms of seeing Taekjoo's thoughts etc. The reason this manhwa may feel cut short is that there are many scenes in the novel talking about Taekjoo kind of becoming accustomed to the island/being complacent. It's a bit long-winded and while it's a very domestic, sorta cozy feeling, I think cutting those scenes out was a good choice, otherwise people would be reading like 20 manhwa chapters of stuff that doesn't exactly drive the plot. Cute, but can be summarized in a few chapters and some internal monologs. Honestly, I'm excited for the upcoming scenes after this. This part took forever to get to

It is following the novel and i know manhwas can never have the same detail as novels but the manhwa has cut a lot of scenes short and cut internal monologue especially taekjoos and it just feels quite bland compared to the novel where when reading you really feel how emotional and heavy the scenes/story is

I find it absurd, though, that the beginning seems like a completely different story from where we are now... At first, there were no yaoi scenes—the manhwa seemed to be about something else entirely—and then it suddenly shifted gears!
I thought it was a choice by the manhwa author to cut things short and get straight to the meat of the story, but if you're telling me the novel is actually like that, then I'm reassured—even though these last few chapters still feel rushed to me, like the way the scenes jump from one thing to another （/TДT)/
