I’m trying to read up to the available chapters on Asura scans website (please check them out!!!! they’ve translated 15 chapters so far!!) and hmmm. I don’t hate the story, but honestly I think I won’t continue.
This is definitely spoiler territory for up to ch 12 btw! Beware
Honestly I think MC is too OP for this story to be interesting. He was granted a second life with way too many advantages from the trading book that makes everything way too easy for him. I don’t connect with him at all as a character cause he doesn’t have any conflict that makes the story interesting enough to continue. And the other characters are pretty one dimensional... Like pompous seller is greedy and older brother is prideful and so on. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
As prior comments mentioned, this is inaccurate in some aspects(especially when it comes to integrating; they don’t just disappear on whim). But i do appreciate the author attempting to share this disorder in an easy to understand way. There’s often stigma surrounding DID, so it was nice to see a story that at least attempted to teach the audience what it was.
That being said, if you would like to know more about the disorder, I highly recommend DissociativeID’s channel on youtube. They’re (as in all the identities) have this cool channel set up to explain how DID affects their lives, and how they operate all together. The host is super sweet and I love hearing her talk about things (she integrated so I’m not sure her name now).
*spoilers! review* Honestly I do like this story, but I think i only really like it cause the love interest is handsome lol. The story is incredibly weak over all and definitely didn’t need 70 chapters to tell what it told (maybe 40 would have sufficed). *Lot* of unexplained plot points and rushed moments, so it can get hard to follow at times. And the first love interest disappeared right after they broke up ;; He was easily best boy. I’ll pick this up again in a few years when I have better patience
Maybe a year or so I wouldn’t touch this comic cause of the harem aspect, but this time around i pulled through and was greeted with a great story.
It’s well written, and i appreciate that the harem isn’t just randoms mc picked up and they suddenly fell for her. Each love/harem interest has a complicated relationship with her that properly develops overtime so it’s really satisfying. I also love that she’s ride or die for her ride or die and after a while the power imbalance kind of fades away.
