Can’t describe how sad I was! I thought this site was gone forever. & I totally understand how people don’t support this site because of authors but Mangago is the reason that I was even exposed to all theses amazing authors! I understand that if it is being officially translated but I buy a lot of the physical Japanese manga I’ve read and loved here. Plus some official sites don’t have comments or the sense of community that I come here for.
If this site wasn’t available probably a lot of the supporting community wouldn’t even exist. I know wouldn’t be doing any of that; ╥﹏╥
and other website doesn't have great yaois and most of the readers are have 86% blood of normies, and assholes like the tag's shounen ai yet complaining the other's a guy, ugh stupid sonnuvabijs
Okay in the beginning; I really did not get anything about this story, it was confusing, very violent and almost giving gore p0rn or something.
After reading the whole story, I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. A LOT more than Pearl Boy actually, it was a lot more compelling and entertaining.
I genuinely love the characters and feel a lot for them. They are extremely flawed but even with their pasts they were able to find eachother and make eachother more human again.
There are moments I noticed that I hadn’t before, like Yuta putting on the perfume when Seunghyun would visit him and then Seunghyun throwing away all the colognes that yuta had.
Or just how Seunghyun was the first to fall, but also the first to run. It was away until he was able to face reality and Yuta also being too proud to admit his own feelings or others.
I really wished we could see more of their new life together but yes over all I would recommend it.
But keep in mind that it is a dark story and to take the trigger warnings seriously.
ive reread pearl boy more times than i could count so i was so excited when i found out the author was making a side story, i let it marinate for a couple of months but when i came
back i checked the comments and most of them said it was so bad and the author didnt think it through at all, yet making it such a bad plotline filled with rape. is that really true? if i were to read this what do i keep in mind?
You enjoying Pearl Boy assures me that you’ll be able to enjoy this read! I say that because I truly believe a big part is this sort of stories aren’t for everyone, so expecting fluff or something doesn’t make a certain story bad; it just means it isn’t your preference.
Okay! Now in terms of the actual plot, yes I did see an actual story become told here, it is not pwop.
The characters are so dimensional, and we see them be able to grow and truly be able to accept and express themselves.
Like I mentioned, and everyone has it is dark, and aggressive, I mean this is SH story, he is a ruthless k*lling machine, and that’s who we see completely become human again. Yuta is a tormented soul, who feels only hatred can protect him and make him strong, accept that he is deserving of a future.
I genuinely enjoy it and I feel anyone who can also understand and appreciate it will enjoy it too!!
