Okay pause.this Is actually so well written, the art style, and how the characters act with one another, i feel like we're finally getting to know more and more deeply about them, truly. The art style was the thing that kinda drove me to this, but now, im really enjoying it, sure there were some parts that make me go "oh jeez do I really wanna keep reading this" I guess this is just my guilty pleasure? Anyways, im excited to see what's in store for next season
Please enlighten me. Because I honestly don’t see why the plot is good. I’m trying but all I see is a spoiled rich girl who has a crush on her mom’s bf but can’t admit it. She also has a sadistic site (which again, seems like boredom of a rich kid to me). Then we have the ML, who only wants to be loved and accepted. Only in the season finale does the author make it seem like he has masochistic tendencies.
So yea, I really don’t understand this story lol

Totally agree with you here . The author keeps impressing me with each chapter they come out . The storyline keeps building up , we always get new insights about the plot and characters .
Sorry not sorry , but this manhwa has become a healer & my 'coping mechanism' each time I get dissapointed with every damn chapters updated for Tears On A Withered Flower lately . Most readers are really upset tbh .

The overall plot that drove season 1 is very… cliche. Almost similar to adult videos that have a base plot revolving around similar roles and looking for an excuse to f*ck with some kinky stuff.
But they did manage to make characterization really good. The things turning in the cover characters heads are quite detailed.
Still falls flat for me, its hot but thats it.

Controversial take for the fans of this series, but I'm gonna have to agree.
The plot so far is still very basic... It's mostly intrapersonal stuff that drives the story and not much external forces, something bigger than the smut and kinks (which was what I was waiting for).
But it really is the characters and their twisted minds that drives the plot for now.
I enjoyed the smut, but I guess I want to know more and see other dark parts of the story (the drugs, the whore house, etc)
