Roses and Champagne was one of the manhwa's that I grew up with, from reading the first available chapter to eventually being finished I'll definitely miss it. But I wish the author despite this being a mafia centered story kept it somewhat fluffy like how it used to be in the earlier chapters... I swear shouldn't be the norm for manhwa's, you could do so much more stuff that would keep the drama or prolong the story if that's their goal...
It is an issue with a lot of stories presented as dark romance. They pretend rape is an act of love from somebody that is broken because of his dark past, when in reality it has nothing to do with love, especially when the ML keeps doing it, and they magically go from all that to a happy ending without properly addressing the issue. This happens a lot outside yaoi stories too.For a story to be a romance(even a dark romance) it requires the parties involved to learn to respect each other's will and decisions. This is a very key component that is lacking in a lot of stories, so the romance aspect falls flat.
