I totally agree with you with how rampant misogyny is internalized in people these days with how even off-handed jokes have an undertone to it, as a girl myself I did find the comparison of "acting like a girl" quite unnecessary, however I do understand this person points in that they are talking about stereotypical tropes, I'm pretty sure they never pointed out or correlated to real women. As an avid reader on this platform, I pretty much understand the reference right away because yeah, there's a lot of those female leads on this website or just media in general. But even if it's in Media I feel like it's about time we should stop spreading these types of stereotypes because it's very damning and harmful to women and that's why these jokes came about in the first place.
