SPOILERS AHEAD. I was going to keep this short but then I ended up typing and couldn't stop? Lol Anyway, these are just my own opinions/reflections/WISHFUL THINKING regarding the series. I'm not trying to diss anyone's Fave or preferred character.
TLDR: I love Libertia | To me, Alisha and Daniel's relationship seemed forced | I love Libertia. | Unnie please marry me.
I liked the sisters' back story. They kinda remind me of the W1nch3ster brothers what with sacrificing their own life for the other thing. Libertia especially, choosing to save Alisha over and over despite knowing the lonely life she'd live each rebirth. Living life in a world that viewed her as a villainess, doing it alone if it meant her sister could live a happy life somewhere else. Content with just visiting Alisha through the medium she created even tho she couldn't talk to her. (And Alisha, ready to give up the people she had come to love for Libertia.) I may not be understanding the plot as intended but this is how I choose to interpret it. For someone who only appears in some chapters, Libertia's impact to me was bigger than some of the other leads.
Speaking of leads, I'm not a fan of her ending up with Daniel. Yeah, no one asked my opinion and Daniel, my guy, I'm sure you're a great guy but boy does this ship feel forced. Alisha had better chemistry with Eugene and/Kain. Not gonna lie, I skipped Daniel's back story chapters so I'm probably gonna get hate from his fans for this but to me, I just didn't think his back story would make me rethink their ship. It certainly wouldn't make me reevaluate how rushed i think the start of their relationship was. I still think it felt forced, sue me. Eugene and Kain's character developments (as well as how they became friends instead of enemies) and how Alisha played a part in those felt more natural to me. All that set up and build up and character development going down the drain when Daniel showed up. When Eugene said he felt like he was robbed, I freaking agrees. Like what you just sweep our best boys away??? That's it? Send them on some mission to give screentime for Daniel? Justice for our boys!
I thought there was gonna be some magic hocus pocus kinda thing where Alisha could have a body (made of magic or something, I mean lots of seemingly impossible things were done in this story by the use of magic. Also it's a fantasy world, c'mon) and Libertia will go back to her own and they'd live as this badass pair of twins that give off "come at us world, we'll take you on" vibe. They'd be the sister version of the "Black cat-Golden retrieve" pairing thing. And could you imagine Libertia as an aunt? She'd be all tsundere and call her niece annoying and tell her stop bothering her but secretly be a softy passing her candy after dinner behind Alisha's back. Why I thought this could have been a possibility was because of the two spirits saying "At the Final moment look for..." I forgot the whole message and can't be bothered to look for the chapter. Anyway that's why I thought the spirits had something up their sleeves. Did I misinterpret that and gave my self false hope?
So yeah... 8/10. Libertia being the biggest contributor for this rating. Lol kbye.
You're right, in one of the chapters the elemental spirit said that only a half-human half-spirit creature could save her so I thought Daniel would save her soul from disappearing, surely there could've been a way for both sisters to live together in that timeline.

Right??? I feel so sad for Libertia. Then again, I'm very biased and very emotionally invested in her character But still, it felt like for the sake of drama, they made it like it has to be one sister or the other when it was sorta previously hinted that it didn't have to be that way because of what the spirits said. I mean, in the final fight, i think Daniel's contribution was to hold back the uncle at the last moment with his shadowy things, (again, sorry I didn't read his back story chapters). Was that how he was supposed to save her? Did I miss something?
I feel like in that grand scheme of things, he didn't do much. Eugene and Kain and Horace weren't there much in the final fight but they were still there for her from the beginning. Accompanying her on walks, helping her get permission to go outside, helping out with the rumours. I dunno what Daniel did most of the first few chapters he was in, he was talking about planning to kill her. Then he was following her around as a body guard and then he was in love/they were in love. In some major fight scenes, it was Alisha saving the day and fainting afterwards.
Idkkkkkk I think I may have thought their relationship was forced had it not been foreshadowed from the like very very very beginning of the story. She was literally obsessed with Daniels character way before meeting him. And then when she finally did just pure excitement. Like idk if I ended up in one piece even if all the other guys liked me as soon as I see Zoro I’m done idk I don’t think it was forced it makes sense to me that he ended up liking the one she already actually liked. Plus Eugene was extremely mean to her at first, and Kain is so…. Idk I Don’t like Kain very much. And I’m not even going to talk about Herrace no one is acting him. Anyways they went on dates and literally she spent her every opportunity trying to sneak out to see him? Idk they were cool to me
I had thought Eugene would be it because of his introduction and the development of their relationship. I am okay with her ending up with Daniel thought. But I do feel like their relationship is rushed. I wish they had introduce him sooner. Had their relationship develops in a slower pace would be better. Idk, just my opinions. But all in all, great story and the leads are all eye candies. lol
