Got Dropped Into a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work. The manhwa is new so it only has 20+ chapters so far, but the novel is peak. At first I was like 'an isekai? How scary can it be?' and then I was like 'oh'. It's about a guy who's really into creepypastas and specifically a forum that posts them, and he suddenly gets dropped (haha like the title) into that world and has to survive working for a shady company that explores creepypastas in order to get a chance to go back home. I could count on one hand the amount of novels that actually put me on the edge of my seat reading it, and this is one of them (the others are mostly Brandon Sanderson novels). There are plot twists that will make you go :0 bc you didn't think it was all connected like that. Trust me, the novel is peak. Another webnovel that isn't horror but is also peak and I feel the need to rec is Is It Okay That the Main Character's a Roleplayer? It seems like a kind of typical isekai (yes another one) comedy action power fantasy at first, but then you realize that the main character has actually been doing his best to cope this whole time and he is Not Okay, and that's when it gets really good
it's kinda hard to look for horror that isn't heavily affected by other genre btw i really recommend distant sky. and to the person upstair ^^ i'm sold lol
