True but at some point I feel like we r only getting at this conclusion because Diana is a bad character I mean it's only nature's for Helios to protect her of he loves her. If they were the main leads then we would've called Helios *husband material* or smth but then again, I understand ur pov coz other fls r not dumb who brings danger to empire lol
I feel like we would still call Helios quite stupid and an incompetent ruler because of how he’s behaving. There’s plenty of other male leads who get called out for being an incompetent or trash ruler or boss while some female leads get called out for being quite problematic LOL.
Although I do get where you’re coming from. I know of some female leads or male leads that do get the pass simply because we don’t really look further into their actions and what it can cause.

Spoiler on what's going to happen. Hestia will agree not to do the petition hut it's kael who ends up petitioning against Diana and this will devastate both Helios and Diana. Diana will of course blame kael's supposedly betrayal on Hestia as usual.

Yess lol it depends on our pov and the main story of the manhwa tbh. And we r calling Helios stupid not because he's supporting his love but for supporting the love who is dumb and actually doesn't deserve Helio's love.
Well no we wouldn't, at least not the majority of us readers, Helios is a crown prince soon to be ruler of a freaking empire, what Diana is doing isn't even being of benefit for herself, she's dumb and self-centered and it's going to cost her a disgraceful and very public fall from her pedestal.
If anything he should give her a reality check in private, not try to conceal her bad behavior and let her think what she's doing is good hence encouraging her down that road.
To me he's merely protecting his ass for choosing such a ridiculous and unfit individual as his spouse rather than out of love for her. Love that I'm pretty sure has been fleeting for a while now.
