Any tips on how to stop addiction on manga .i only need to stop for 2 months for my exam because i need to study and i have failed 2 times because of my mobile addiction and fear of failing.i tend to not open books if i am scared. I am person who would complete atleast 100 chapters in one go. Pls help me!!!
Uhh, i would recommend writing (on pages instead of tab or anything) and putting ur phone just abit out of ur reach. I'd also recommend changing ur wallpapers and putting away stuff that could potentially remind u of manga/manhwa. And MOST importantly, when u wake up, don't look for phone as LONG AS POSSIBLE. Like of it's not an immediate emergency, don't look for ur phone or open it. Do whatever, stretch, read novels, cook, do anything to stay away from phone. Give it 4 days and u'll notice ure not as addicted to it. There's so many things to do and enjoy beside reading manga :) wish u luck<3
I have been there... thankgod u have two months...idk if this will help butttt .... First try to get back to reality. Talk to a friend about it or even chatgpt...about what's left to study and everything and hence ur brain will comprehend the reality of the situation
Second..restarting studying might seem extremely difficult at that point...so start really small...today's goal open that book and learn the first definition of something or understand what is the outline in the first page....
Third...I'm assuming by that time...u will have an idea of what you have to finish.. start putting a timer and ur phone locked, power off or away...better just hand it over to someone.... Conversing with chatgpt has helped me...like reading something and telling chatgpt about what i grasped.... Start small...today one pg ...or 10 min..increase the number of tasks slowly...by one week discipline urself to a stricter routine.....
Manhwas are going to be here forever. Time IS NOT.
Making a timeline with daily study goals (i told myself i can read after i finished my goals)
Study timers!!! Studying straight 3 hours at a time. Personally pomodoro didn't work for me because I'd use the 5-10 min breaks to read manhwa for 3 HOURS lol
Look for a study buddy or someone to call you out when you're distracted. Sometimes just studying while in a Discord call with friends help. If you can find someone to quiz you then better.
