they are living so unusually but thats because they havent experience what's normal back in the human realm. his house looks shabby, but that’s what looks best in his eyes, he was trying to recreate the houses before. the first ramen he made was not even right because he never got to learn how to do it. even when he lack the normal experiences, hes unapologetic with the way he live. Hes happy with them. i dont even agree that hes empathetic, because he knew how to dealt with nari when he noticed she was too afraid to tell the truth. he saved that root monster. i just feel so soft for him, because despite everything he went through, he is trying to live his own ways of normal. he spent most pf his life living like a monster than like a human.
