I started reading this to see what the hype was only to read it out of spite, bc I hated the main love interest so much I wanted to see him suffer for his redemption arc, only for the MC to suffer the most and then be written as a pushover and a people pleaser, and mc to have the most bizarre turn around that wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t speak to his old coach? And then the ending was so anticlimactic there wasn’t enough begging in my opinion.
