San and kang will reconcile after kang was almost assisnated. San will know kang got same sleepless night disease so he will have change of heart ,he will visit the cold palace then he will have hearty talk ,he will regert sending him to cold palace and he will lift the banish and ask kang to leave cold palace and move to new palace which is closer to main Palace.
Kang will birth the baby boy but baby boy and San doesn't have good relation because he already know how kang was treated when he was unborn .He is demi gold aswell so he can listen and talk with kang while he still in womb.
Kang will also have 2 daughters.

There is also a plot twist it's revealed that Kang is actually Hallyeo 'reincarnated' and that Kang's Foster/adopted father and brother were sadly murdered and thus Kang and San are out to get revenge for their murder and to avenge their deaths.

In another plot twist it was then revealed that San knew all this time that Kang was in fact Hallyeo, from the moment that the two have met eachother back in San's hometown and this is the reason why San took Kang to his palace, to confirm if this was really true. San also hated Hallyeo since he discovered that he used him for his own selfish goals and that Hallyeo didn't love him and thus left. That's why he felt torn regarding his relationship with Kang and even thought of seeking revenge, while Kang thought of ending their relationship since he saw how much suffer his existence has caused to San.

Ultimately both of them recognized that what happened in the past doesn't really matter anymore and that Kang is Kang, and not Hallyeo, while Kang decided to 'stay with San and not return to heaven (he was originally sent back to the world by the heavens after committing a sin, of which he didn't know what it was and how his previous life looked like. It was said that after 8 years he could return back to heaven)

Exactly. Why can't they ever have a happy ending without being with the toxic MLs at the end?
I just want them divorced, with him being regretful throughout his life and her being happy either alone or with someone else.
But we all know the authors always portray in such stories that a female lead can't have a happy ending unless she's with that fuking toxic man!
