I feel like the author doesn't know how to write something new, or bring a new plot to the story so they are simply running around in a circle. This was good....30 freaking chapters ago! Now it's the same shit over and over and over again.

Hmm not much off a spoiler idk, but the ml and mc met together when they were kids, major spoiler will be that the ml refers to himself as a dog, he has actually been in love with the mc since long back, there is a brief encounter in the past I don't exactly remember but like when the mc was in college/hs they brief brushed past each other and shared a few words and at that time ml imprinted on mc (basically a incomplete imprint he tried to get rid of ot by engaging into sexual activity with others but it doesn't exactly work out) later in the story there is a part of drug distribution like it's from the mls family side i think and it is a drug that turns alpha into omega (that catch is the person needs to be exposed to a dominantalpha pheromones), the drug is purchased by the mcs family company/the step mother, the ml gets the overall idea abt what the step mother is trying to do, that's when he starts the plan to pursue the mc, basically manipulate kind of, he knows that the mc is turning into a omega, the title it's self says it all "dog mask" the dog is the ml and he wears a mask to get closer to the mc, but he doesn't know that the mc is already in love with him, he keeps trying to make him fall in love and actual can't believe or understand why the mc loves him when the mc later confesses into the story
Also the manhwa did cut out a bit of information about their separation arc, in the novel it was much longer, and I kept feeling bad for the mc because of his sad inner monologues, but that arc happens because of misunderstandings the ml didn't have the intention to hurt him, he just was in this own delusion that the mc doesn't need him or want him yada yada
And mls father and grandfather both are trash, garbage, they also put the male leads mother through a lot, the divorce talk chapter is already released after this they'll reconcile

Tbh, jaeyi is not really bad though. He is shown as the typical fb and toxic seme. But as the story progresses, he is actually quite polite and disciplined. Also, he's caring towards ideum even though they're just 'fwb'

I seriously want all the manhwa readers to read this part. The manhwa really did Richard dirty. He is seriously much much more capable and scary than shown.
First of all, he is really good at combat and can adapt himself with the combat style of his partner and become the perfect pair. It was really cool to read about those two backing up eachother and fight the snow spiders
Secondly, he is a TOTAL PSYCHO, after knocking out the ml, he tied him to the chair, the same way that ml tied him up and cut his out wrists and used HIS OWN BLOOD to write the message and I quote " See you in the capital, my love" on the cave wall directly Infront of the ml so that that's the first thing he sees after waking up.
It really disappoints me when the author writes such great stories but it is undervalued by the manhwa
