He thinks there is no love and nobody can love as much as like that especially Dane himself cannot love anyone, cause Dane was born from a product of gang rape - his mom was an omega who was raped and then disowned from the family as a disgrace so he grew up in slum type of poverty his mother used to love him and take care of him when she was sober and when she was drunk she used to beat him, abuse him and stuff. Basically his mother used to apologise to Dane after becoming sober for the abuse she does when drunk and she blames Dane for her life falling apart I understand the mother too but she shouldn't blame the child. Yeah one day Dane manifests as an Omega and his mom tries to kill Dane when he is asleep by strangling and he goes unconscious and then she hanged herself.
