Unpopular opinion but side couple better. I do think that the main could have more time but the main could be resolved in like 1 chapter. They allready went through the "wish to be a girl" trope so like what's stopping them. Either he likes him enough or he doesn't. The side couple dynamic is different because they have he tain's family and she li to worry about, what's stopping the main couple from being together.
