I feel more chapters would’ve done more justice to the main characters and the story, but with the amount we had I feel the autor did a decent/good job.
The world created is genuinely so good, I love when stories take their time to build their world and make it part of the consequences and circumstances of what they go through and it’s not only the place they happen to be. Definitely, the ML should’ve gone through more redemption and, even so that the autor tried to justify his love, it’s clear that it’s the result of him suffering physical and psychological damage after her death, which leaves a bitter feeling but I guess I accept it with the FL affirming she will never be able to say “I love you” to him. Genuinely a good read, worth the time and pain. Would love a story for the blue dragon, the world and character has the potential to lead his own story.
I’m not justifying Etienne actions after the curse, but the fact that yall just decided to ignore that HE IS A VICTIM yet justify Crocetta is contradictory asf. As if he asked to lose his mind over a girl he can’t have nor wanted before and yes, yall can say “well, Arnold didn’t do that nor Roger” yes, it’s a fact and so is the manifestation of obsession and how it depends of the sociological context of each individual. Every character is so tragic and pathetic, I genuinely just want them all dead yet I also don’t want it since is not fair, all just because of an insecure needy person.
I kept reading this because I wanted to see how the FL and the black hair guy acted after she found out the lies, but he just behaved so out of character? Like he was never shown to be this cringy ahh dark man “I can do worse to have you.” The same mf was in pain and scared asf chapters before thinking of FL finding out his shit. Well, I guess it’s my fault for expecting something a bit more interesting but holy the writing it’s painful, now I can finally drop this.
