Like another comment said I don’t care if it’s cousins because it’s fiction.
So this is my third time reading since this came out years ago. It was a great drama that kept me hooked the whole way. The main problem I have with the story is the time lapse. It feels so lame. Nothing about their situation changed when it came to their family/ friends so they just wasted all those years. We don’t get to see the outcome with Hanmi’s mother or them actually start their relationship/ more emotions from Hanmi/ things changing when they get together etc. Because I want to see more about Hanmi feels and them going out for real for the first time without it being Iike 4 years later or whatever.
Seo An is just breaking my heart! (ch.94) It really hurt a few chapters ago when Woo Won was going along with the blackmail to try to get the video deleted and Seo An lashed out at him saying "you can't even solve anything on your own" (when he was already so insecure about the gap between them and the money and Seo An knew that). Seriously that scene was like watching him kick a puppy and he was so unnecessarily cruel even though I know why he was upset. Now he punches him on sight?! ┗( T﹏T )┛Domestic violence?! It just hurts me to watch it when I'm SO INVESTED and love them so much and Woo Won is already in so much pain. They both are. They're relationship is actually just so toxic though whyyyyyy T.T T.T T.T It hurrrrts
And he's all "why are you crying?" *suprised face* after punching him on sight
THE END IS SO WHOLESOME. I seriously want to cry. Wow. Amazing work. 4.5 stars. I wouldn't put it in my top 50 even though it was perfect, just because it was missing a certain level of genius I reserve for my favs. Even though the story was predictable the characters were still unique and I was extremely invested all the way through the entire story. Great writing, characters and art. Wish I got to see a friendship episode of them hanging out and still being friends after everything since that was the whole point of them pretending for 7 years (so they could still be friends) but its not a big deal. Romance was perf. it just took the main guy wayyy too long to fall in love imo. Like how was he not in love that whole time seme was being cute and sweet and sleeping with him? Anyway we got there. Fantastic and cute as hell. Not in a cheesy way, there was emotional depth to this.
Mr.Han didn’t deserve that.
After mc agreed with some homophobic comments, Mr.Han saying what he said wasn’t wrong even if it did make it seem like he was strait(?) He made it very obvious he liked him shortly after. What Param said also makes it come off that way but what? You “HATE” Mr.Han just from that??? He was pretty strait forward the whole time smh.
Param was in the wrong then and at the hotel just using him for his body after a pure hearted confession T.T and then how he treated him after too was just heartbreaking. He didn’t even have a conversation with Mr.Han or apologize he just treated him like he was disgusting. ┗( T﹏T )┛
Mr.Han is too good for u anyway Param (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸 I hope he lets his walls down again to find someone he likes who actually deserves him.
bro if you had just confessed this whole time the last seven years you could have dated asdfghjm but its seriously fine *inhale* BUT COME ON 7 YEARS THAT U WERE 100% IN LOVE AND YOU NEVER EVEN TRIED TO SHOOT YOUR SHOT????? You didn't even come out to him? that 1 chapter is so frustrating i want to slap orange hair too bc its not f funny. It wasn't even a small crush or "MAYBE I like him", you freakin were in love that whole time and didn't even hint at anything when orange hair could've been seduced he just thought u were straight and missed his chance. I mean its literally fine tho. *breathes* I don't even ship them. #-.-)
(ugh like that scene where he was like "i don't even remember the nurses office." bro you are literally stupid you stupid stupid stupid.)
also i dont get what happened to the side couple where they were in an open relationship after moving in. i wish i had their whole story i actually liked them too.
So happy i can leave comments again besides the normal reviews i post in the "comments". Two Years man!!
Also, I'm cursed with over sympathizing with second male leads since I ever discovered the romance genre, so I'd tell the author it's really not you, it's me XD lol
I'd get past it if he just faded out but by chapter 45 I realized that wasn't going to happen and my heart was breaking too much bc they also care for each other </3
Otherwise I was really invested.

I had a false memory of the first time I read this where Hanmi was secretly the one who always liked him and that the reason she told that lie in the beginning was so they could have a chance at a relationship closer to the one she really wanted with him while no one knew why they couldn’t be in a relationship (cousins) at a new school. Like that was the real reason she impulsively said that,
