i hated the ml from the beggining until the recent chapters, i guess i can see a good ending in this but i also feel like there is too much damage here to work with. well i know the author is most likely gonna make them together in the end but i feel like if he solved his obsession and worked on it they could both move on and find happiness.

You're not alone. I kind of like their dynamic. Caesar was raised in hell by his father while not knowing what right or wrong & losing his humanity since child. So people expecting him to understand empath, sympathy out of blue in instance or just bcuz his fallin for Lee Won, doesnt make sense.
The fact Lee Won realize this & try to guide Caesar by teaching him one things at a time like be patience, understanding, start apologize etc shows that he aware with Caesar condition.
And then come people who compare Caesar with Taeju like why cant Caesar be like him yada². Taeju basically was raise in a normal loving mafia family?? Like urghhhh i have so much things to say but im too lazy to even type right now.
