Low-key I feel the realization arc for JK is gonna be pretty similar to the Manhwa Limited run wherein the protagonist is confused about the same but the moment he realized that something untoward might happen with his lover, the realization hits. Both stories are very alike at certain points.

Dan saying he liked it too but like a few chapters ago showing flashbacks of how JK would just dip and dash leaving a sick Dan all my himself on all fours to fend for himself, a memory that came up to Dan when JK showed the tiniest bit of concern at his bruise.
