This was not really that great I think they were going for the whole “I abandoned you but now that I know you’re usefull I regret it” thing going. For starters wtf is wrong with all these guys just hating her the prince doesn’t like her getting more attention than him, her “fiancé” likes her but doesn’t want to admit it, the priest doesn’t like her because what she’s not cute? And the tower magician is a coward who only joined the hate but was feeling bad about it?! Then there’s her who gets mad too easily she got mad at her stepbrother for wanting to give her the things he believes she deserves aka money and land. She doesn’t really have any romance with anyone by the end either it just cuts off. It was hard to fallow I mean in the ch where the prince was having a flashback I thought I had gone back to ch 1 it was just a repeat of what we already knew. Oh god and don’t get me started on the cringy lines like “what are you doing!” “The right thing” wtf was that! In the end I really regret reading this it wasn’t a good read I don’t even know what happened to the emperor they just skipped it or how the hell her dad got in the same situation! This happened a lot throughout the story, they don’t give details and they don’t know when to switch which side the story is being told. Just don’t waste your time on this it’s not worth it.
As much as I hate to say it, it’s realistic. I mean in a situation like that no one is going to save you right on time. And she is a doll so she has no idea of the dangers of the world so ya they chose the right title for this.
That part is realistic. The dolly coming to life only to get 'that' is not... You don't really need to go for the overkill of developing a cutesy fantasy fairtytale-ish character just to have her go through that... just your garden variety typical random gullible female character would have done the trick
Don’t read if you don’t want spoilers.

Deborah rejects the marriage proposal (obviously) Pilaf’s father realizes the Seymor family are mocking them, Deborah is even seen with Isidor out on what ppl believe are dates so he gets mad and tells Pilaf to forget the marriage thing but Pilaf is the type that doesn’t accept rejection so he goes crazy and decides to ambush Deborah after one of her lectures to try and “talk her into the marriage” but his version of “talks” is kidnapping her until she agrees. He has this family heirloom that allows him to create a subspace for training purposes unfortunately Deborah had no defense other than sweet baby purple but she refuses to send him out knowing he was no match against Pilafs spirit animal, Isidor is the one who comes to the rescue they clash and the heirloom item explodes it traps Deporah and Isidor in the subspace. Some island and beach with no way out they don’t stay long but it’s during the time they look for the way out that Isidor is like : Lets go out .(≧∀≦)
I can’t remember the conversation that lead to it but I remember Isidor offered her water from the island that is apparently drinkable with his hands I guess that set the mood.
