Oh my god the torture reading this was so worth it. This was way too short and dense... I WANNA SEE MORE RICKY AND HOJOONG HAPPY MOMENTS DAMMIT!!! Also the side story ending is like this story's equivalent of the Jojo ending of Metamorphosis lol.
I can't believe I actually read through this whole thing... I never even touch toxic yaoi and this is way beyond toxic. Maybe it's because of how resilient the MC is. Or, maybe it's because the author is kinda aware of how fucked up it is. (With the warnings and all.)
Well, whatever it is, this was a fucking treat.
1. Ghost-Be-Gone
- i wish this was shounen ai instead cus honestly the smut was my least fav part. I'm not saying the smut was bad in any way, i was just more invested in the romance.
2. The Price of Obsession
- i know the seme is kinda crazy but i really like him ngl.
- the smut was good.
3. Emotion
- its really good in a psychological horror way, not in a smutty bl way.
- i think the seme was a really interesting character. His looks are really basic, and that really amplified his character a lot for me. His character wouldn't be as effective for me if he was really handsome and pretty.
- i still dont like the ending though
4. Daddy and I
- i wouldn't have minded the owner-pet relationship so much, but the fact that they spend multiple chapters building up the father-son dynamic really killed it for me. i didnt finish the whole thing
i haven't read the others cus they all seem like theyre doodoo. besides Digging and Exorcism with my Childhood Friend. I didn't read Digging because Ghost-Be-Gone was just too good. And I didn't read Exorcism cus im not the biggest fan of the art and character design, its too colorful and cute and the characters are so stereotypically seme and uke.
