from my understanding

1. Guemryeong so called Lover like Ohwi's lover. (the dead guy. a human? and his master?)

2. The Lover "accidentally" killed Ohwi's lover.

3. Guemryeong manipulate things behind the scenes, thats why the dead guy and young Ohwi were running away.
(since Guemryeong stated that it's going according to plan)

4. Ohwi forgot everything. (that's explained his abnormal obsession with the MC's yang energy)

5. MC is the reincarnation of the dead guy.
