Makes sense why he is detached, cause they were just part of a deal. He didn't plan for him and Taesun to get so close and form a relationship. He was calling them "hatchlings" at first, but only called them by their names because he wanted him to. In the marriage scene he didn't pay most of his attention to the two as he was busy admiring him. Everything he cares about revolves around Taesun, the twins were *supposed* to replace him as the Mountain God in the first place.
The fight is also quite interesting, despite Taesun knowing he lives short, he still does his best to keep it lively and to stay strong for his family. But Geumryang is wanting to give some of his life so that Taesun could live with him. But I think either way, one of them could die. Geumryang could exhaust himself, and Taesun of old age. I think what's best for them now is to just keep moving forward, and see what happens along the way.
(Also I'm so interested about the snake gods' (including the twins) power. Is that all they can do? Heal, extend life, and so on? Could they make contracts/bonds? I really wanna know what is the limit of their power.)
We have Geumryang wanting to be more human-like, like Taesun. Seems like it just hit him that Taesun is human, and can't live forever like them three. It's sad but it's the cruel truth for the both of them. But then we got reincarnation brought up.. Will the author expand more on that?? We'll see..
Also, the timeline seems to be going really quickly, so I can't really tell if a lot of time has passed, or the twins are just growing really quickly, which can be a good thing, meaning Taesun might be able see them once they're "adults."
Sungwoon finally cried! It just seems like he's the more calm and cheerful out of the bunch, seeing the baby teeth just actuvated the "aww" in me..
PROBABLY a controversial opinion of mine, but I just think that if I lost my memory and suddenly I have two children? I'd lose my mind. I don't think Chayoung was being a jerk about it, personally I feel like it more.. "Oh gosh, just a few days ago I remember myself minding my own business, and now I have children, and I don't even know ANYTHING about them?" That *might've* messed him up, ngl.. OORRRR.. He just has a big ego and thinks the children are a waste of time, I dunno. If you think I'm wrong, please let me know, cause with the way things are going it's kinda confusing to me.
Despite this story being all cute and sweet, and I always take my weekly photos of the babies. I think that in this chapter the author is trying to remind us that Taesun *isn't* immortal. The statements of him missing his grandpa, the "What would you do without me?" and the part where he gets a burn from the pot. It reminds him aswell that, he is human, he can get hurt easily.
This author can go many different ways to officially end this story, and remember that they have the choice to make a sad ending. Not to be realistic, but there is an ending where Taesun can die, and the Geumryang and their children live on the mountain, to be Gods. But I still pray that since Geumryang *is* a God, there is a way to help Taesun live and grow with them, together as a family.
But if I remember correctly, the reason why Sungwoon and Wolhyun was born was because Geumryang was losing his energy?? Power?? I forgot what it was. So that they could reside in the mountain instead. So this could also end in Geumryang and Taesun together in the afterlife, as the twins either become the Mountain Gods, or they live life normally together.
Look at me getting sentimental, I know it's probably *not* that deep. Sadness aside, the twins were hitting me with a cuteness aggression as always, hope to see more cuteness next week!! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I thought of that too, I kinda mentioned it aswell, briefly and worded differently in my statement. Also, I was under the impression that Geumryang was ready to go from thebstart, and that the twins already had those *said* powers and were born with it. Cause at the beginning of the manhwa, it felt like as soon as the two were born, Geumryang would just leave it to them. But it can also be that since he *was* born and raised there, and learnt to live alongside the other creatures of the mountain, he thought that they could also learn from them.

The reveal went way better than I expected, We waited so long and stayed so patient for this moment!!
