People are hating on him before they’ve even seen the full performance. I swear, everyone just loves comparing everything to the 2D version. Do you really think it’s easy to find someone who perfectly matches a character that only existed in drawings? No actor is ever going to look 100% identical.
At the end of the day, what matters most is whether the actor can capture Jay’s personality, emotions, and presence—not whether every single facial feature matches the original design.
