They’re trying to kick out the poor people so they can gentrify the area. It’s getting closer to what I assume is an election, or a deadline, or something, so the mayor is really cracking down on the uke. It’s a lot of back and forth and sexual tension. There’s more pressure on the uke, thered doubts about his loyalty, so he’s like FUCK I need to speedrun this.
