Damn so final boss actually just normal good person. Why I feel like his changing of personality related to Damian? Since Melinda mentioned he's her beloved but also curse, something about his pregnancy/birth probably led to Donovan to accept that project or something?
Im not really sure but I wouldn't jump into saying that Donovan is a good guy now
From this back story and how Melinda descript him before taken by alien, it's easy to assume he's simply "normal" person back then, whether it's his real personality or mask to hide something deeper we won't know unless this manga ended (since that's the original plot).
Forgot to add.. But one thing for sure his personality changed. It can be he simply it isn't necessary to hide it anymore or he's really just good guy but changed by some kinda experiments related to Gramps and Anya.
Reading 2 manga version with different pace feels like dejavu whenever this version updated, I thought there's big difference between the two but barely notice it

Ame arc soon? What's Sensei cooking. Since everything related to Seimei passed down from Abe family, Ame mystery probably come from Papaaki? I thought Tsuchimikado still part of Abe lineage so they should have same faith but this manga differentiate it, new faction incoming?
The plot is superb but the storytelling isn't something enjoyable in manga format especially second arc.
A little googling just tell me the first and second arc has different artist and story composition, no wonder it has different art and feels as if different manga just with same characters.
If they use the home as sealing place guess daddy gonna stay as guardian spirit while everyone move somewhere else, worst case scenario it's francois duty like that dog from previous chapter while he become the seal itself so they can stay there ╥﹏╥
