I don't believe that yaoi is fetishising gay men, I think maybe it's soul purpose is fantasy, and lust and love in sometimes it's most perfect form. I cannot speak on behalf of gay men, but yaoi is an artistic representation of sexual desire and romance, not an exploitative genre in my opinion.
