Am I the only one that thinks marus dad was one of the eight? Because how did he casually find the devour nachal to offer his son too? And then he randomly disappeared? ( or maybe was eaten)
I’m theorizing that he probably was the former Nacalist of the Devour Nachal or managed to some sort of relationship with it because it could explain why Devour didn’t easily kill off Maru since he was a mere child and can explain why Maru’s dad completely lost his mind. I don’t think it was completely due to the PTSD of seeing his squad getting and we know that he did obtain a Nachal power along with Ildu. It is also possible Maru’s dad may have possessed the Eight that was held underneath the former Yellow Dust Dept. HQ.
