I find there’s this uptick of ppl constantly talking about chasing arcs. “Can’t wait for the chasing arc”, “the chasing arc is gonna be amazing” etc. I like a good chasing arc as much as the next person but there’s no reason to have one in every single story that you read. Then you end up with things like “Surge Into You” (which is one of my favorites) that has MULTIPLE chasing arcs for the same characters lmao. I’m just tired of seeing it
Imo many readers use it’s to justify shitty mls.

I mean i totally get it it's super angsty and exciting the first time and then they do it twice.. then again... then they kept on doing it... and then again like ughhh wtf ??? Yk when i say chase him to the ends of the world i didnt mean literally you guys just stfu and get together otherwise yall just hate each other in the first fucking place and should break up ahbdhababa
Why not though? I LOVE a good regretful seme + chasing arc, so satisfying. This is obviously only for stories where the ml is an asshole, in that case some chasing and suffering from the male lead (proportional to his wrongdoings) is necessary before he's forgiven imo. I won't even read a story with an asshole male lead unless I know that there's going to be a satisfying chasing arc (yes, I spoil myself :D)
Which version of this should I be reading? The officials, the ones with the chapter titles or blank title ones?
It's all the same but it just depends which translation you prefer. I'd recommended the officials though
