like, I keep on facing dissapointment in each chapter that I read bc how is it taking him so LONG to realize and recognize his issues and treat Dan better. Like how many chapters do we have to keep watching him be like "oh no" "hes stoll not okay" "woops he almost died again, i ghuess he actually isn't okay." WHILE STILL ACTING POSSESSIVE and mean towards him. ATP even just having a conversation will not work bc Dan has been so traumatized that hes living with ptsd fight or flight responses.Im truly just reading bc the art is so pretty, but everytime HE shows up on the screen i get soooo bored. but what you‘re explaining is literally what everyone hated in bj alex. alex suddenly making a 180 acting all lovely and whatever. I actually prefer this pacing because I want to see jaekyung putting some effort into his redemption. him having to learn how to care for another human being is way more realistic and makes his character development so much more meaningful. plus I kinda enjoy his suffering and the mental gymnastics he does to redeem himself
So i never read bj alex, for some reason i couldn't get into it. and yeah obviously i would want some redemption for jaekyung but like... atp dan needs help, and no matter how much jaekyung changes, or how he gets rid of his anger management, and undersands dan as a person. Dan still needs help, and the only way for him to get help is to stay away from jaekyung and focus on himself. ,maybe years later they could get back together after they've both fixed their issues, but i dont see that happening. (and even if it did happen, a time skip is hard to execute well, especially for the manhwa medium.) but i digress.
hmm. I kinda disagree simply because when dan was by himself, his mental health detoriated to begin with. plus, dan has a tendency to almost kill himself while sleep walking. I personally wish it would be potato who helps him out of his mental prison, but it seems like he‘s busy with other things (?). and dan seemingly doesn‘t have any other person giving him the support he needs. do I think jaekyung should be the one? no. but it makes sense since dan still feels indebted to him and without jaekyung forcing him to get help, I doubt he would continue his therapy sessions. but it’s not the best way to handle the situation given how jakeyung’s mood swings trigger dan’s ptsd so I understand your frustration. :/
okg ppl seth is the victim here. imagine hearing ur wife didn’t actually betray you bc of the stupid mirror and there is a possibility said mirror also messed with horus. like obvi we know the backstory and why horus loves seth, but whag hathor said is true, it doesn’t rlly make sense in the context of the politics of ennead for horus to love seth, bc seth killed his father attempted to kill his mother and even horus himself. like… and then we can see that seth is also broken, he literally can trust no one around him bc they have all used him one way or another. i completely understand. of course, i understand horus too, but to me seth is still not to blame for this

OKAY, tbh i do not care about ceasre. like sure he was abused as a kid. but THAT DOES NOT EXCUSE THE ABUSE HE INFLICTED UPON RUBY. its common to see the abused become the abuser, but that IS NOT the only path for victims, and im honestly quite tired of stories trying to create that angle. like sure depth and grey characters. but SPOIELR doesnt ceasre end up with freya? thats crazy. for a character to have caused such harm and PHYSICAL SCARS on the main lead, i would expect them to be gone from the story because i dont want them to have their happy ending. Liek HONESTYL> and anyways bring back the evil people being evil from their own deulsions and not becasue they themselves were victims. like... lets leave the morality question to the protagonists plz.
sorry the rant was mostly becasue the psat couple of chapters i could not get into. BUT FINALLY WE SEE THE DRAGON ONCE MORE and rubys lovelyl relaitonship with izek. love that.
