I think it was really mature of the author to actually aknowledge the criticism about their work and not be offended by it, along with cancelling the story altogether. I really like how they didnt make any excuses aswell and seem to genuinely be reflecting and taking this into consideration for the future (im not saying what they did was okay, but theyre clearly sorry and trying to do better from it)
