Also the dom def pissed me off when he kept pushing in an effort to force mc to safe word. I get doms get worried when their subs never safe word, but an experienced dom would never act like this. To write a character in a way that shows he has experience and then do a 180 and have him become so emotionally explosive doesn’t make sense.
