Yeah, i completely agree. He's blaming himself and probably feels like Dan will be better off without him. I think this is really good on Jaekyung, he could act like an asshole but instead he let's Dan go, no ugly words or fighting. It shows his character development, he was very selfish before, but he's changed and is actually showing a different side. Sometimes when we love someone we have to know when to step away. And sometimes it can be a good thing, Jaekyung can work on himself and fully realize his feelings for Dan and hopefully when they meet again, it will be better for the both of them!
