Unfortunately apoc + limited supply doesn't lead to a lot of empathy and leniency, especially when the leader is naive and built diff. he cares but he's clearly very strict. That's his own morality- someone steals supplies they get got, but it's so bizarre to uncritically take that in and not push against that world view. I'm actually rereading the chapters and just realized how much Chaeheon cares about him, adding egg sandwiches to the menu, faking a survey just to ask where the class should go for the field trip. Thinking the same way as Jeongyoon: what he wants, he should get. That's so lovely. He's definitely the ISFJ type.
Jeongyoon, on the other hand, lectures Chaeheon for being a pushover and warns him about how people might take advantage of him. It's such a sweet and hilarious dynamic. I love how the side stories show them learning to adjust to each other, one forever clueless and loving, the other forever desperate to love and protect.
