I can't think of a single other time I've seen a "love at first sight" trope that I absolutely understand like this.
Bro really spent his life watching people try to kill him just for this hot little cat man with huge tits to show up and do a little dance for his soul because apparently cat boy thinks even his soul deserves peace. Damn I'd probably fall in love too
I feel like we haven't been with either of these characters long enough for me to really care? I kinda assumed this was the direction it would take but I thought they'd give us a little more from the characters first, I don't know these people, so the twist of the MC being scammed doesn't really hit the way its supposed to.
I'm kinda just sat here like "huh, I guess the twink is kinda evil rather than just an innocent victim. Good for him" which is probably not the reaction this was supposed to elicit from me. ( ̄∇ ̄")
Jeez the guy has ptsd, the whole face your fears thing just feels like a fundamental misunderstanding of what the problem actually is here. Just let him be. Seriously. And no offence but who actually gives a crap about your student film other than the people working on it? Its definitely not worth putting someone through THIS for the sake of what? Art? The director needs a reality check when it comes to his priorities
UGH THANK YOU! like who df does he think he is?? He thinks he’s some fucking big shot who’s gonna put out the next best movie, like news flash—you’re fucking not. He literally broke down crying and begging to shorten the monologue, and he’s just going on about how it’s gonna benefit him…he lowkey pissing me off, I would’ve told him I’m done doing this bs.
Dude, I understand what you're saying but Tae-in is going to need to get over his PTSD sooner rather than later to become an actor. He shouldn't just "let him be" or else he'll be stuck with that problem until he lands an actual job with a studio and then gets fired, it's better to handle it in a controlled environment with someone he trusts. Also obviously he's trying hard on this film because it's something he cares about If bro's gonna be a director than he's not gonna halfass his work, especially if you can use this film as experience to land a job. Could he have cut down the monologue, yes, but it's his film and he wants to portray a specific feeling when watching it, it's the actor's job to be able to bring that out.
Bruh... he in fact does not "need to get over his PTSD". The dude needs therapy not some guy he's had sex with pushing him into experiences that trigger him because that guy thinks he knows what's best.
It is also NOT the actors job to go through with whatever the director says if it risks the health or well-being of anyone on set. A good director works with the hurdles and challenges rather than brute forcing them, but instead of making accommodations, like removing everyone from set for this scene, he is too stubborn to even consider it.
Don't get me wrong I guarantee that this will end with a "wow you really helped me face my fears" thing because at the end of the day thats just how the genre works but in reality this would absolutely fuck someone up and be a huge scandal if it were a real movie.
I didn't mean "get over it" I just didn't know what else to say my bad I agree he needs therapy and maybe my opinion is dead wrong because I've never experienced PTSD before but I have tried working through being traumatized, sometimes tackling it head on is the best way to deal with it but then again I don't know I'm not a psychologist. I don't think the actor should comply with whatever the director says, I'm just saying that when it comes to a monologue that's part of the actors job to bring out what the director intended. For the "removing everyone from the set" thing, that's super smart I don't think he's being stubborn tho, I just think he didn't think about it cause I didn't Sorry if I came off super arrogant btw
For gods sake girl! I was really hoping he was gay or had just gone through a divorce or SOMETHING and had told her off screen so she had some kind of reasonable explanation for being SO DAMN WEIRD.
Maybe she wants to feel desirable or some shit but constantly acting like she's single is just such a dick move.
She better not have a "I was doing it for you" or "I had no idea it would hurt you" style apology
ヽ(`Д´)ノ
Once again I can absolutely sympathise with both of them. Fuck. They just want to protect each other at their own expense.
One doesn't want to drag someone else down and the other doesn't want to burden him with even more crap to stress over.
And now we have to sit with this until the next season(/TДT)/ ╧╧
I think this is the first time I've ever read an age gap mommy kink juri that hasn't immediately creeped me out! I thought this was super cute actually.
And for the folks confused about the unnie thing here's my take. I think the mommy thing was fine because they were both very "in character" for their role play but when she said unnie it got a little too real and the older one REALLY felt that age gap for a minute

This will probably end up being well written and may be interesting but I'm absolutely out. We are less than 20 chapters in and its already VERY hard to watch so good luck to everyone else who is able to stick this one out. I salute you, you're braver than me.
