Just finished reading this n thought of replying:
On the romance aspect, it’s hella slowburn. It’s great tho cuz rather than focusing too much on both the mcs feelings for each other, they focus more on what the storyline has to offer and leave the romance part to develop naturally. Meaning, you can expect the plot to actually progress instead of having unnecessary n tiring back to back chapters of the mcs being all dense n oblivious to one another.
The plot’s typical for all historical fantasy manhwas with the characters fighting for the throne, defeating other antagonists and whatnot— so theres nothing new with that except for the fact that both fl n ml r both such badass characters on par with each other in all senses. The plot’s typical and atypical at the same time, I just can’t explain it lol, it’s really unique on its own way.
TLDR; Overall, it’s really dependent on your personal preferences, but imho it’s worth it ☆!
