Has anyone read Zig’s other novel called “Kiss My Grits”? That novel totally left me feeling empty but angry at the same time. So many things went unresolved and unexplained, and the main lead didn’t have to turn out the way he did. It felt like Zig changed their mind near the end and came up with that unnecessary plot twist. Anyway, just wanted to rant cuz I have nowhere else to do so
Haha the amount of people cursing Grayson. I was the same before I read his story—now I just adore him. Not that I’m excusing or defending what he did to Chase, but he’s a really intriguing character. Personally, I think DMIYC is more of a fun read, with all the crazy antics Grayson pulls off.
It might sound like I’m defending him, but Grayson (and his twin) were born with purple eyes, meaning they had already manifested their dominant alpha traits since birth, while Chase manifested later, around eight (I don’t remember exactly). So he’s kinda cracked in the head and his twin too—she is literally a wanted criminal for impregnating all her lovers and fleeing from them. He genuinely thought he was helping Chase. He doesn’t understand emotions, not to be mistaken for not feeling them, because he does feel them, he just doesn’t understand them, and Dane becomes the one who helps him make sense of them.
You'd think that, but the author wrote last year on her x account that Grayson's story was actually the first she came up with when she started with omegaverse. But it was released 10 years later.
She planned two series of that universe and she made Grayson's chronologically the last of the Miller series. There are two of his sibling's stories which were released after Grayson's, but I know that one was delayed 3 times and most likely the other one because of that too.
I know that the stories where all planned for a long time, you still find some informations from several years ago.
What?! It’s ended?! I checked it on ridibook and it’s only 114 chapters. So that’s it? It’s so short;;
I was hoping that Bliss be a toxic dominant omega, but some fan reviews say that’s not the case, so I’m kinda disappointed—it’s the tops who are always the crazy and obsessed ones so it’d have been interesting to see the roles reversed.
Yes, it was kind of short. But Chase's story was shorter.
Bliss is silly, delulu, naive, a dumb blond (says of himself he is slow), reckless, overenthusiastic, falls in love easly more than 300 times (forgot the exact number), watches tv dramas/ series 24/7...and is pampered and spoiled by his parents ( you feel sorry for the others, especially Chase)...yes Ashley O_O....and his siblings. Loves his family. Another crazy Miller...who isn't a dominant alpha lol. Don't know if anything changes later.
The age difference is big, his pair is 11-12 years older. He is a beta, but it's possible that he is stuck in a mutation to alpha for 10 years..., but if that really is the case it was unintentional.
After I read the epilogue of the second extra of LMUIYC, I knew none of the siblings went the Dominic route, since Ashley monitored them all. Grayson was left, but he was the one who had overcome it, since that didn't happen either before, since Ashley was still the same.
Well, Josh has thought of locking up Chase and Dane threatened to kill Grayson if he' ll spend his rut with someone else ( as if Virginina would become unfaithful to Venus lol...will never happen). Those two are probably the most "toxic" and obsessed bottoms so far, lol.
This is my comfort manhwa fr. I didn’t notice Sungyeon’s problematic behavior when i first read it cuz i guess I was younger. Though i do now, I still love them, this manhwa just holds a special place in my heart, especially because how wholesome it becomes in the later chapters. I’ve reread it multiple times now, and every time I get annoyed with Jiwoon. He doesn’t even ask or care about Hosik’s opinion and decides to get him abortion which might cause side effects that could be detrimental in the worst case scenario since he’s a man and male pregnancy is still an anomaly.
If you don’t like the story, it’s totally understandable and justified, but don’t be too harsh on my babies in the comments and reviews
I was trying to remember why I didn’t like it that much when I literally live for heart-wrenching stories. Skimmed through a bit and realized it was because of the doctor! I guess everyone is rooting for him and ignoring his problematic behavior because the ML is so horrible already. I mean sleeping beside Zishu felt very inappropriate because he has feelings for Zishu (which means the intention is not innocent anymore) and knows he has a partner. Wanting to help someone you love is okay but he’s inserted himself in the couple’s relationship despite being an outsider.

I can understand people saying they don’t show much affection and look less and less like a couple. However, this is the kind of relationship I want to have if I am ever in one. I love to read bl mangas/manhwas with very passionate relationships but they also makes me feel like I could never be in a relationship like that because I find physical intimacy like kissing and being all over each other too stimulating to do that every time we are together. I would prefer a seemingly mundane relationship where both partners are just so comfortable and used to being with each other that despite not being very physically intimate or affectionate, you can still feel the sense of love, care, and warmth they have for each other in their actions and behaviors.
