This is based on my observations from some panels i saw and reader comments. It seems like Ricky jumped into the sea. Hojung was given two options either to save ricky or take the suitcase with money (that ricky gave) to pay his debts. Hojung took the suitcase instead of saving Ricky. Hojung was bamboozled by ricky as it turns out the suitcase was actually empty. Idk if ricky actually drowned or not, but i think he is alive (not delulu). And now knows that hojung had chosen money over him.
