I’d have arguably said worse things if I were in her place, emotions are hard to predict yk Euja and lots of Korean authors already stated patiently before that they don’t like illegal readers, and if you know that AND still flaunt the unofficial screenshots on SNS… How else do you expect them to react lol
There’re hundreds of QRTs and posts bragging that they would continue to read illegally out of spite, which is honestly an even more petty and childish reaction. Like, my brother in Christ, do you truly despise the author/story or not? Hate read at its best.
Already wrote a post earlier but, please, friends T_T There’s a lot of hate being thrown around the topic, let’s stay as humane and understanding as we can.
Unofficial readers have their reasons and circumstances for why they can’t pay. Even so, posting ss and bragging about it is not…okay, especially on public SNS accounts where the authors can reside too. Imagine how upsetting it would be if someone laughed in your face about not paying for your hard work
Euja was rightfully saddened and angry, but perhaps her response to the situation was too uncontrollable and harsh. It’s not our place though to say how authors should feel about their work being openly distributed, but still… Augh, I just wish everyone /understood/ each other’s side :’)
I personally buy official chapters whenever I CAN afford them. I also use official names/sites/screenshots when I want to promote the work or when somebody else is curious about it, and I encourage everyone to at least do so in order to create a healthy, caring community where both authors and readers are happy. Illegal translation should be read in privacy and shared in privacy only…
I think it's just a 50/50 thing where realistically as an author u can never expect for your work to NOT be somehow distributed (probably closer to illegally as well) and then the readers can't realistically expect the author to be satisfied just by them "appreciating" the story, these authors need money to pay bills bro
In a perfect world there would be balance (like back when there was a code of conduct for scanlation) but it's becoming more and more common for people to cross different lines and then it just kinda snowballs tbh
Also a side note about tgcfied: I remember blocking them on Twitter because they too started bullying and mocking a reader for posting proofs of buying chapters, even though they already had a big following back then - 14-15k or sth.
Not everyone is a saint… We can thoughtlessly hurt another person and, in turn, be hurt by others just as easily. So we all should try our best to be kind and self-aware of our own actions
tgcfied does post screenshots of illegal scans, he’s a really big account and fan of LTIT, so ofc there’s a chance the author euja would see his posts even without searching actively. euja was honestly TOO harsh on him and other unofficial readers, but tgcfied acting like a victim in this situation and trying to act pitiful and cute felt icky too.

I don’t support euja sending death threats (though the frustration is understandable), but I also don’t support posting illegal screenshots and then acting like the author should owe you their life. Please always try to promote official content, at least in PUBLIC. Please discuss unofficial translations in DMs or more private spaces only The writers, seeing that their work is appreciated, would honestly be so thankful to you. Please don’t accidentally remind them by posting unofficial scans that their hard work is pirated
100% agree. she was so unprofessional about it and got caught up in her own emotions. the moment you cross the line you lose all moral high ground. that being said, people need to start having some shame about reading illegally lol. like no one's gonna stop you from consuming content on pirate sites but at least be quiet about doing it
There're 3 review chapters for the end of first season and it seems like no English scan group has taken the initiative to translate them. If you've seen them on Naver, you know they're VERY long and informative, 1) with character profiles and trivia, 2) Webtoon writer Seri telling about the hard adaptation process and 3) Webtoon artist Biwan revealing difficulties of the drawing part. I MTL-ed the chapters for myself and they were so fun to read.
I hope official English Webtoon translates them when S1 ends there, our S-class fandom can't miss such content...
Seri, the part of official Webtoon team, has announced the end of Season 1 with the release of ch. 153 and an indefinite break. It’s really sad (<- I was thinking of jumping out the window), yes, but let’s still wish them the best and a good rest. For they’ve deserved it so much ^^
Waiting for Season 2!!
The S-Classes Webtoon team is taking a break this week, no new chapter ‘till next Monday 4/15) Let’s wish them to rest well!
Did you know that Naver actually used to give its authors a break only ONCE a YEAR? They recently changed the rules, and now it’s possible to rest every 25 weeks/6 months… The bare minimum, istg. Naver should make it at least every 3 months. Most Korean authors are dying.
That's why I encourage other fans to support the titles legally - whether by paid cookies on Naver or free hearts on Webtoon, you're gonna help the authors tremendously!:3
Yeah, NAVER actually sucks. Just like Kakao. If anyone doesn’t know already, the author for the other manhwa called “The Way to Protect the Female Lead’s Older Brother” she is an amazing artist who worked hard to contribute to drawing out the chapters, but she was also pregnant at the time, so it took a toll on her health. This caused her miscarriage because they forced tight deadlines on her and wouldn’t let her take a break. And even after that incident they pushed her even while she was in the hospital trying to recover and recuperate.
A lot of the Korean companies that have manhwa artists contracted with them make tight deadlines which ultimately lead to artist to suffer injuries, and though not many have blatantly said it was due to overworking, many of the Korean artists for manhwas I have seen rarely take break. And when they do, it’s only when they were injured, or had a end of season.
114 was uploaded by someone not from Asura team (they haven’t updated yet), but other translators. The chapter text did seem a bit sloppy, like machine translation (I can see so because I read raw Korean chapters with Google translator as well). Would prefer to see AkumaKira upload from Asura next time TT. Not for me, but for other readers.

I think it’s unfair that anyone would start reading this and complain there’s no healthy relationship That’s why I’m glad someone uploaded official chapters with no translator’s notes, who kept complaining throughout the whole manhwa and kept translating even though they detested it (weird hypocritical move from them but alright??)
Wookyung and Minho are both mentally exhausted and unhealthily dependent on each (Toxic yaoi with capital T, mmm~, my favorite ^^ )… Though at the end, they did find some solace, so I’m happy for them too
I was so irritated at the translator. They just sound like a teenager. I promise we know, this is what I ordered exactly how I ordered it. I’m happy with it. Almost everyone here doesn’t want a boring romance. If we wanted happy ending healthy relationship we know exactly what we wantv
