The FL's revenge was the reason I picked this up in the first place.

She did get her revenge, but the payoff was so underwhelming that it barely left an impression. It had all the setup for a satisfying climax and somehow still managed to feel flat.

As for the romance...Hmmm, let's just say it didn't help.

I absolutely love how devoted the ML is to the FL. Cesar is honestly my dream man. He's not the typical cold, emotionally constipated ML.

Instead, he's affectionate, attentive, and constantly pampers Lily through his actions.
Sure, he's a little overprotective, but when he's looking after Lily like that, who's complaining?

Lily is a great FL too. She can be a little naive and tends to overthink, but she's never frustratingly passive or overly reserved. And her freckles make her even more adorable.

They genuinely feel perfect for each other, and their relationship is one of the healthiest and sweetest I've read in a while.

Now I just need a sequel for the older brother and the princess because I am not ready to let this story go.

This is worth reading, although the plot moves at a pretty fast pace. Still, it’s a decent read overall.

I like Titania because she’s reasonable. She doesn’t come up with elaborate, mastermind-level schemes. Instead, she tackles problems one step at a time.

One thing I especially appreciated was her first meeting with the ML. There was no internal monologue about how handsome he was, no blushing, and no instant attraction. It was all business, which felt really refreshing.

I also like how Titania doesn’t fawn over Bibi. She isn’t trying to build one big happy family with them, nor is she obsessed with helping them save the world or whatever. She knows she needs to get the hell out of the plot, so she keeps her distance and doesn’t form unnecessary attachments.

I love that Titania fully aware she’s on her own. She has no one she can truly rely on, she simply accepts it and moves forward. After all, she already experienced the happy family she had always wanted in the alternate world. That alone was a form of salvation for her.

I am okay with no romance with the ML, Raymond. Or, if Titania has no romance at all with anyone.

This whole misunderstanding trope honestly dragged the story down for me. It feels unnecessary, especially with the whole “first love” angle, like no matter how much time passes or how many people they meet, they still can’t let go of someone from their youth. I’ve never liked that kind of writing.

And then there’s Tarkan. Are we really supposed to accept this as justification?
“Oh, I thought my first love was someone else, but it turns out it was you all along so I’ve always loved you.”
That just comes across as insincere.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but this whole stunt really made my rating drop.

YJH has his issues, but at least he’s willing to communicate. It feels like he’s always the one lowering his ego whenever they fight, expected to do the coaxing and constantly reassure Garam.

I honestly can’t believe Garam just stays silent for hours on the other end of the phone. Why can’t he match JH effort?

Waiting for YJH to go back to his fuckboy era.
Because let’s be real, they’re already broken up. They just haven’t said it out loud.

I don't think Garam is wrong. If Jaehyuk wants to be selfish and be open about their relationship the least he can do is start to be independent from his parents, and show them what's the future plan for him and Garam. He can't just cut them off while using their money.

Also, he was mingling with some bad crowds, so I don't understand why he wants to announce that he's in gay relationship to them. Those guys would spread rumours to drag him down. Can him handle the consequences when it affects not only his studies & future, but also his parents business?

We know the other person is Rine, but imagine if it weren’t. If it were another woman *his first love* and Tarkan still couldn’t let her go, wouldn’t that be a betrayal to Rine? That would make her nothing more than a second choice, a rebound. And what happens if that first love comes back? He’d probably take her in as a concubine without hesitation.

So yeah, my verdict is: f*ck you, Tarkan. I seriously don’t understand this obsession men have with their first love.

Someone please teach this FL the art of negotiation, because whatever she’s doing right now is definitely not it.

I really can’t stand this type of FL, too righteous but all talk and no action. She overthinks everything and insists that everyone follow what she believes is morally right.
Yet she’s incapable of protecting herself or making good judgments, which means she constantly needs the ML to save her every time.

Both leads are solid. Lily comes across as innocent at first, but she’s slowly becoming more ruthless, which I actually enjoy. I still can’t fully grasp her thought process, though.
Honestly, I wish she would just seize the empress seat for herself instead of dilly-dallying with a bunch of side quests. I’d also love to see her focus more on spirit training and explore that power properly.

As for the romance, it’s so tangled in politics and power struggles that I almost wish they wouldn’t date at all. It feels like a relationship doomed from the start. I get that the emperor has to stay objective and think about the bigger picture, so he can’t be fully honest or transparent about his feelings. But it’s also kind of boring watching him play everything by the book. If he’s supposed to be a tyrant, then give me more blood, more chaos, more unhinged decisions.
