Does isekai and harem/fanservice go hand in hand or... cuz I wanna read isekai but they always come as a buy one get one free with harem/fanservice. I hate harems/fanservice. I just want a regular isekai that has action and good plot.
Is it just me or is the "dungeon / game system / op mc" getting oversaturated? I mean yes some stories are unique. But nowadays if I open a story without reading descriptions etc just cuz i thought the cover art looked cool and the first thing I see is "dungeons opened up and recked havoc. Awakeners called hunters stepped up to save humanity. But I alone experienced this and that, now I have to use my op powers to save the world" i'm just like....again? Idk. I've read so many and they're all starting to sound like one story. Not hating anyone or any of the stories, just wanna know if I'm not the only one thinking there's a huge case of oversaturation going on.

It's normal, solo leveling was a huge hit and now dungeon stories are the hot topic, same with the reincarnation webtoons, the Norm for MC's after waking up in a new body is now:"Which book am I in?" Instead of "where am I?" for example
Tropes get overused a lot when it's a hit and it gets harder to find stories that can actually pull it off nowadays
yeah once you come up with a fresh and original idea (which is solo levelling) other creators will follow suit and do their own take on that idea which will get extremely old after a while
