I think he does after the broken toy incident and what the brother said. I could be reading too much into it but that whole toy issue could have made baby Jaeyi start to believe that being mad at the situation neans he wants his brother dead and he doesn't want that so the slightest bit of anger probably quickly turned to guilt before he turned his emotions off.
i absolutely agree.. it sucks and it’s heartbreaking. i’m sure he feels guilty, shameful, selfish, and like a monster i hope he learns that he is valid and realizes his parents neglect were not justifiable and also sick people can be assholes too!!
I think what a lot of these authors miss when creating this story is the fact that the dynamic is alluring because the bottom seems powerful as well. In the beginning it seemed like he held all the cards that’s what made it sexy, this is like torture porn this poor bastard uke is suffering every chapter. His safe haven seme is an asshole who can’t see pass his ego it’s not safe or cute anymore. It’s fine that the uke has no real power, it makes sense, but my god at least make the story appealing by making the seme a good mistress who knows his place?? Now I have to reread die in my arms to cleanse my palette.
