I finished the novel (10/10) it was so good and cute. Love that there was RARELY any miscommunication. Also the story does have smut scenes, they were just near the end and side stories
(Edit)
I did pay for access to the translations since they were behind a paywall...if y'all r okay with paying for them I can dm a link, y'all just gotta keep the website on the down low like usual :3

The comic starts off pretty good! I started reading the novel almost as soon as the manhwa came out and I finished it bc I couldn't wait (it was def a lot), so here's some things to maybe help out ppl who wanna read it
(Spoilers ahead)
- The novel has like 200+ chapters and the comic starts becoming really fast paced after the 1st season. I'm really surpised that the main story ended around 80 chapters...that's not including the side stories where Hyoseop ends up in the past/dream of the past.
- Turns out they scrapped like 80% of the chasing arc from the comic. There were so many occasions where Hyoseop would run away and Andante would just barely miss him. The chasing arc was super long (at the very least it was over 50 chapters). If ur not a fan of super long chasing arcs, I don't think this is would be the best option. If you're okay with reading that, then absolutely go ahead ur definitely in for a ride.
- The comic did NOT have a good representation of Hyoseop's trauma with his past guild. It was actually one of my favorite arcs of the novel bc you really got to learn about why Hyoseop had such a strong aversion to obsession. This arc had me bawlin real bad for Hyoseop and I think it's a crucial part to his character and understanding his fears. The comic barely skimmed through his trauma and that just leaves readers really confused on why he acts that way. (If I could burn the esper he had in the past I would do it a million times, creep...abuser...)
- When Hyoseop leaves Korea and goes through the gate he ends up staying with a family for a really long period of time. I really enjoyed this part of the novel bc he formed some meaningful relationships and it gave Hyoseop a sense of normalcy with ppl he could call family. It was nice to see (and funny)...ofc this only added to the chasing arc...idk I really enjoyed being able to see other sides of Hyoseop aside from guiding
- Overall there's sm that's been taken out it's actually insane and it def removes so many points that would be capable of changing a reader's opinion on the story (ofc the novel still has its own flaws but I still think its better than the manhwa)
