I feel like ppl are completely valid for calling out Su-ah for his non-con actions but I feel like ppl are being too hard on this story. (Ofc if this triggers you then don’t feel obligated to continue whatsoever bc it does cover heavy topics). I feel like I love how the author chose to include a non-con scene and actually show how it affected/dampened their relationship and trust in one another. I also like how it was actually treated like non-con/dub-con, addressed as such, the fact that there was an apology, and necessary distance for Juhyeok to heal. Juhyeok is completely valid in how he feels, bc we understand that at the moment he’s deeply insecure about being an omega and doesn’t want to rely on anyone. So although he may not genuinely hate Suah, he’d rather keep him away so that he can have his own independence (especially bc Suah’s an alpha, a constant reminder of what he’ll never be!!)
In this story, it’s a complex dynamic of childhood friends/sweethearts who were in love at one point but where immediately torn apart as a result of biological factors and how it’s affected them emotionally and their daily life (specifically Juhyeok). Idk why so many ppl absolutely hate Suah when this story has only begun, there is SOOO much room for him to grow. He also doesn’t know how to deal with the love of his life just switching up overnight and immediately hating him for something he couldn’t control (which was manifesting as an alpha). Also, many ppl think Suah forcibly turned Juhyeok into an omega but what we know from the doctor’s visit is that the prolonged exposure to him when they were kids is what likely led to it. Suah was also a child at the moment who hadn’t known he was an alpha, it didn’t help that they had been inseparable at the time so the exposure was constant.
While I will not excuse Suah’s actions and do expect for him to do better in the future with respecting Juhyeok’s boundaries and struggles with being an omega, I don’t know why so many ppl expect this to be a linear green flag story, with green flag characters. I feel like the second a rape/SA moment happens or ethically immoral scene happens ppl act as if it’s unreadable or unredeemable. Just bc rape happens doesn’t mean the story is inherently bad or that everyone should stop reading it. How it’s handled and addressed it what matters most. These characters are allowed to fall, not make the right choices, or start off horrible but what matters most is the journey and what they do to improve themselves. I think ppl are forgetting this is the literal beginning of this story (it only dropped this month on the 13th). Either give the story and characters time to progress, improve, and deepen or leave now it’s that simple. This also depicts real life bc relationships aren’t always good/green and ppl mess up in real time/overstep boundaries but it’s the choice to navigate and fix the dynamic. Juhyeok needs more time to accept himself and trust Suah completely, and Suah needs more time for self-control and respecting Juhyeok’s boundaries. I have a feeling they will be one of the best, communicative, trusting, loving couples once they work through the bad but we got to give them the most important thing: TIME!!
i think a lot of ppl are misinterpreting/mischaracterizing Su-ah as this toxic/forceful/manipulative villain because of the whole scenting situation. I genuinely believe that while it had been selfish of Su-ah to do, he definitely didn’t use it to force himself on Juhyeok but more so as a over-protective measure to ensure his safety (by warding off other alphas). a lot of ppl think that he’d been doing it to trigger heats/force Juhyeok to lower his guard so he could SA him but i feel like the author has shown that that couldn’t be further from the truth. if he really was that predatory, I feel like he would’ve tried to SA Juhyeok a long time ago or multiple times but the author made it a point to show that he not only looked for him when he went thru heat in public but also protected him, got him suppressants, and immediately shielded him for any predators by covering him and taking him home. he also rejected Juhyeok’s advances when he could tell he was not in the right mind. while Su-ah’s scenting may have caused some additional factors that could’ve triggered heats/caused Juhyeok’s body to act up, I think that Su-ah didn’t know (or fully grasp) the extent of his pheromones on him and did not use them with the intent of making him submit to him. if Su-ah really wanted Juhyeok, he could force him to wear a choker, mark him, or bond with him but I think you guys downplay how DOWN BAD, WHIPPED, AND SIMPY this man is for Juhyeok. he loves Juhyeok genuinely to the point where he values his own opinion, identity, strength, and ability to defend his own self!! I think he just is incredibly clingy and definitely on the yandere spectrum where some of his actions that are meant with love can be misguided or overbearing but he’s fed the type to full fledgedly support Juhyeok as his own individual as long as he can stick by his side (even by afar). I think ppl also underestimate Juhyeok’s ability to say no/completely stop things if he’s completely uncomfy. when they had sex, it was bc Juhyeok was suffering the effects of his heat and Su-ah wanted to help him. Juhyeok was okay with it as long as he only used his hands/communicate what he wants to do first and gets his approval. there was definitely some dub-con moments just bc in moments of heat/usage of pheromones there’s no way to completely tell consent kinda like drunk sex, but Juhyeok is the type to completely stop things if they bother him (exhibit A: him choking Suah and throwing him out when he felt he overstepped the boundaries with trying to go deeper with sex) so we know he was okay with it until that point. I also think it’s worth mentioning that during heats/ruts it can effect ppl’s partner’s to also not be in their right mind, so Su-ah was definitely affected by Juhyeok’s heat to be a bit overzealous/not in his right mind. I am in no way saying there is no red/yellow flag glimpses in Su-ah, but I don’t think he’s NEARLY as bad as y’all are making him seem!! That’s my baby and I love him so very muchhh!! I’m looking forward to how their relationship will deepen as Juhyeok learns to let himself be confident as an omega and accept Suah overtime!!
they’re just saying all of that because they want that old man because y’all can tell me this is the worst dominant alpha yall have read about? the author also pointed out that juhyeok was conscious during all of that. he could have easily tackled suha if he wanted the fake ass outrage is frying mee
ngllll.. as someone who LOVES yanderes and pretty tops x handsome/buff bottoms, if this is already seeming like too much for you just tap out now bc this is only the beginning. yanderes come with the territory of questionable morals/actions so while i can understand the initial shock, if you know it not for you pls don’t ruin it for the folks that are hyped for this!! me on the other hand am SOOO excited for what this story has in store!!
Honestly!!! I LOVEDDDD this!!! Everyone is complaining about SA/Non-con but there was no non-con, if anything maybe dub-con (bc heats/pheromones blur the lines of consent). But the ML and MC only chose to have sex when both were ready. Can’t believe ppl are hating on Suah just bc he’s a freak. Justice for my freaks out there

THIS WAS SUCH A SWEEETTT CHAPTER
suspiciously sweet..
