I think Naru wanted to teach a lesson to Masato, he knew Masato already regretted what he has done in the past ....and the poor Masato couldn't refute what has been done either...Kouhei just want to protect his bro

I guess Naru was not planned to hide Kousei's existence for long time at the beginning and his prank might just be to tell Masato his new roomate was the brother of a guy Masato used to hurt after he moved in apartment to make Masato feel embrassed.But when Naru found Masato and Asahi had affairs, he changed his mind and was curious about what they would do after Kousei knew it. Then he told Kousei about it so Kousei decided to come back. Just my personal opinion.I was confused of Naru's intention for a long time and tried to figure out what he was thinking during the whole story.
It's stupid for Naru for being angry at Masato's comment since he knows Masato's past. There was even truth in Masato's comment.
Naru always does things according to his own right and wrongs.
It seems Naru has deeper friendship with Asahi and was more concerned about Asahi's happiness.
Well maybe still in a twisted way, but at least more concerned than Masato's I guess.
I think what they did was way more than a prank and Naru should be the person who knows best how broken Masato was after the end of his relationship and why he did, what he did. It took Masato a long time to recover. Even without Asahi, he'd continued to recover slowly and Naru knew that. But he decided to reopen Masatos old wounds even though he knew that Masato would be more hurt by that than he was before.
And Naru can't say that he planned it together with Kousei, because they wanted Masato to regret what he did before, because he already felt guilty and regretted it a lot.
So even if Masato ends up with Asahi, I hope that he'll cut ties with Naru.
